2024 Global Jewish Citizens Fund:
An Online Passover Giving Event

For the month of April, we are hosting an online collective giving event. Global forced migration is one of the most profound challenges of our time. Conflicts and violence that lead to displacement create long-term ripples of need for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in the United States and in Israel.

During Passover, bring to life some of the core values of Judaism: empathy, social justice, and fighting for the rights of the marginalized. We are reminded that it is a mitzvah—a commandment—to welcome the stranger, for we were strangers in the land of Egypt.

The Global Jewish Citizens Fund is funding five organizations dedicated to improving the lives of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. We have a generous $25,000 matching grant through the Federation’s Endowment Fund, and we seek to raise an additional $25,000 from donors who want to come together to support these organizations doing vital work for people in need.
